Housing for All letter delivery and press conference

It’s time. As the city council prepares to open crucial budget deliberations and the campaigns for Mayor, City Council and City Attorney approach the frenetic final month before election day, it’s time for Housing For All to formally present our demands to the city and the press.

We need far more affordable housing. We need more and better shelter options. And we need policies that don’t criminalize people for sleeping outside or in vehicles when there is nowhere better for them to go.

Join us at City Hall on Monday, October 2nd, as the Housing For All Coalition delivers a letter signed by over forty organizations, several candidates and other notable individuals to Seattle City Councilmembers at their 2pm Full Council Meeting. Then we’ll stop at the Mayor’s office, and finally hold a press conference on the 1st floor of City Hall. Be there at 1:30pm if you can!
